2. Headlines Make Your Post

You wouldn't think headlines are so important

But if you don't catch someone's attention with your headline your post won't get read.

One of the best tools you can use is EMV headline analyzer. This gives you a score based on the emotional marketing value of your headline.

Here's another tool that actually suggests different headlines for you.

3. Subheadings And White Space

Have you ever caught yourself skimming through an article or blog post?

Well most people do just that.

To help catch their eyes, use subheadings like Heading 2 and Heading 3.

Also write short paragraphs so your post has a lot of white space.

Make it easy on your reader's eyes.

4. Bullet Points And Numbered Lists

We just mentioned above that people like to skim your best information.

One of the best ways beyond subheadings is to use bullet points and number lists.

Both of these actually work as a subheading. They are easy to spot and your reader's eyes naturally go to them.

5. Images

Images are so important. Our brains sees visual content faster than written text.

If your post is long maybe more than one image will help.

You can find some awesome images at sites like pexels and unsplash.

You can upload these images to canva and then your headline or other text to your image.

Many wordpress blogs use Yoast.

Here are some of the things you should be looking at for each of your blog posts.

  • Add proper Meta Title
  • Add proper Meta Description

7. Make Sure You Have A Call To Action

This is probably the most important part of each blog post you write.

You need to have a call to action that is very easy to see.

A call to action can be anything. You can ask people to leave comments, follow you on social media, share your posts, sign up to your newsletter or purchase a product.
